The Arab Organization for Human Rights in North Europe (AOHR-NE) is cordially inviting you to the meeting with the Delegation of the Arab Organization for Human Rights (AOHR), which shall take place in 27th September 2024 at 16:00 hrs at: Schimmelweg 200, 2524 XK Den Haag, Netherlands.
The meeting will focus on the situation of Human Rights in the Arab region, with special view to the impact of deterioration of human rights in the Occupied Palestine and the ongoing Massacre in Gaza Strip.

About the Arab Organization for Human Rights (AOHR):
The AOHR is the eldest regional human rights NGO in the Arab region, establishes in 1983, the HQ is located in Cairo, Egypt since its establishment, and became formal after signing an agreement with Egypt Ministry for Foreign Affairs in May 2000.
The AOHR has 24 Branches and Affiliated Member organizations serving in 22 countries in the Arab region and Europe.
The AOHR has the UN ECOSOC consultative status since 1989, the Executive Relations status with UNESCO since 2003, the Observation status with the African Union since 1989 and the Arab League of States since 1999, and the AOHR is a founding member of the ICC’s Bar Association since 2003.
AOHR and the Situation inn Occupied Palestine
The AOHR has played a great role on the situation of human rights in Occupied Palestine through the last 4 decades, and benefited from its ongoing partnership with the eldest Palestinian human rights NGO (ALHAQ) and the membership of the prominent Palestinian human rights NGOs: MEZAN Center for Human Rights (MEZAN) and the Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR).
Since 7 October 2023, the AOHR has carried out a unique effort on the situation in Palestine, and took advantage of being in Egypt the neighboring country to Gaza strip, which has attracted the work of the UN human rights machinery, as follows:
One of the AOHR’s landmark achievements was conducting a complementary Fact Finding Mission in Egyptian hospitals in which the Palestinian Injured Victims receives medical care, and documented the testimonies of 132 victims during the period Feb – Jun 2024, including 24 visits to 22 hospitals in Northern Sinai and 11 other Egyptian governorates.
The AOHR is keen to present its remarks and brief results during its upcoming tour in Europe in the last week of September 2024, including Geneva, Vienna and Den Haag.
