The Arab Organization for Human Rights in Northern Europe (AOHR-NE) has completed the necessary procedures to collect donations from citizens, residents, and civil and official institutions in the northern European countries, with the aim of acquiring medicines, medical and food equipment, to be delivered to the stricken Gaza Strip through Palestinian and international associations and bodies working in the field of humanitarian relief, such as the Egyptian Red Crescent.
This campaign initiates based on the noble message and humanitarian goals of the AOHR-NE, and as an effort to fulfil its moral, humanitarian and legal duty and commitment towards the Palestinian people who are under occupation and siege.
The toll of the “Israeli” aggression on Gaza amounted to 14,854 killers, including 6,150 children and more than 4,000 women, while the number of injured exceeded 36,000, more than 75% of them are children and women.
The AOHR-NE calls on all United Nations agencies involved in delivering humanitarian and relief aid to Gaza, including the World Health Organization, the World Food Programme, the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and UNICEF, to adhere to the humanitarian principles of neutrality, independence, integrity and humanity, and to reject the conditions imposed by “Israel” that aim to forcibly displace Palestinians from northern Gaza to its south.
The AOHR-NE also calls on the international community, including the High Contracting Parties to the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949, to maintain pressure on the occupying “Israeli” authorities to continue stopping the aggression, not to use the policy of collective punishment of civilians, and to allow the flow of aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip and to provide urgent and safe humanitarian corridors. And entering all the Gaza Strip’s needs of food, water, fuel, and medicine without conditions or restrictions, as well as allowing the injured to travel for treatment abroad, and the arrival of medical teams to Gaza to help save the wounded, and the civilian rescue crews to remove the bodies under the rubble.
